Chapter 4 Test: Reproduction of Organisms- Tuesday, Feb.14th

Students need to read Chapter 4 Lessons 1 & 2 in the textbook. I suggest reading both twice, as the material is challenging and new. Students need to study their flow charts of Meiosis I & II (spiral notebooks), both lesson outlines, vocabulary, and guided notes from the powerpoint presentations in preparation for this test. The text will be a variety of multiple choice, true or false, matching, identifying by picture, short response and extended response questions. Students should be studying 15-20 minutes nightly in preparation for this test.

Chapter 3 Vocabulary Quiz-Thursday, January 12th

Must know the twelve highligted vocabulary words and their definitions for this quiz.

Chapter 3 Test: Cell Division & Levels of Organization is scheduled for Tuesday, January 17th.

Need to study the following: Lesson 1 & 2 Outlines, Powerpoint Notes, Vocabulary Squares and Cell Cycle Flip chart. All of these items should be in the spiral notebook.

Chapter 2 Test (Part One)- Monday December 5th

**Need to study the following: plant/animal cell diagrams (know the different parts and the differences between the two cells) and your vocabulary. You also need to study the powerpoint slides on Understanding cells, cell theory, basic cell substances, and macromolecules. You should also spend time understanding the key ideas from you flip chart books in your spiral on the different cell parts and functions.
